Jamal started in T-ball and football. Being physically ready wasn't optional — it was the cost of competing. That drive pushed him into the weight room long before fitness was a profession.
His first day of high school workouts, he met Coach Josh Hunter — intense, demanding, no patience for half-effort. Coach Hunter taught Jamal to train with intention, not fear hard work, and hold a higher standard.
